Sutton Parents' Forum

We are a group of parents and carers who have sons and daughters with a wide range of disability or special needs. We all understand the difficulties families face in getting the support and services they need and want to make things better. We work with Sutton Disability Partnership and with any provider of services to disabled children and young people across education, social services, health and the voluntary, community and private sector. Parents can get involved in the forum as much or as little as they like and in many different ways by, eg. coming along to open meetings with other parents, taking part in consultations, or becoming a Parent Representative. Six parent representatives sit on the Sutton Disability Partnership board. Support or training is available to members wanting to work with professionals./workers. The Forum is facilitated by Contact a Family.
